From the imagination of Béatrice Coron comes a new way to experience her poetic papercut art. She tells stories in cut paper, metal or glass for illustrations, bookarts, fine arts and public art. Béatrice Corons public art adorns subways and airports; her art can be found in major collections, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Walker Art Center. Her presentation about her creative process is available at TED.

Cut Stories features "Mermaids," the first in a series of interactive paper cuttings tailored to specific stories and commissions for public spaces. "Mermaids" is an aquarium without the maintenance. It aims to calm and relax: some elements are interactive, others are not. Any action may influence the aquarium: a touch, a swipe, a pinch, a tilt... and may uncover surprises! The interactive option can be changed to leave the aquarium live and breathe on its own.
